Annika (Schmidt) Creel is a professional center back with experience across the NWSL and USL. She’s played in the NWSL with the Houston Dash and NJ/NY Gotham FC, spent time in Sweden with Göteborg FC (and on loan with Sunnanå SK), and later helped Indy Eleven win the 2023 USL W League National Championship. She signed with Carolina Ascent FC for the USL Super League, bringing pro-level defending, composure, and leadership to every back line she’s part of.
